Ep49. Educated - Tara Westover (تحصیل کرده اثر تارا وستور) This is our second episode of 'Ketab-khan-e Jaad-e Maiwand' (Jaad-e Maiwand's Library) where we discuss Tara Westover's memoir 'Educated'. Farah is joining me as my co-host. Educated is the captivating memoir of a woman who grew up isolated from society, abused by her family, and despite zero childhood education, she broke the restraints of her father's twisted worldly views and earned her Ph.D. at Cambridge and Harvard University. We also talk about recent developments in Afghanistan where Taliban have now officially banned girls from getting an education and women from having a job. While the introduction is in Farsi, the show is in English.
